Hand therapy is a crucial part of getting the most out of your hand surgery.
Your experienced Hand Therapist at Corio Bay Hand Therapy have undergone special training to rehab your hand, wrist or arm after your surgery. We work closely with your surgeon to make a plan of splinting, casting, exercises or facilitating your return to your usual activities.
After your surgery, your hand therapist will monitor your progress and ensure that you are recovering as expected. If things aren’t going to plan, they will give you extra attention to ensure you make the best recovery possible.
Some of the surgeries that require hand therapy are:
- Surgical Repair of Fractures of the Fingers, Hand or Wrist
